~~My name is Patches.  I am 13 years old and am a brown and white dachshund.  I love people and get along very well with dogs and cats.  I am very docile but still have a lot of energy in my older years.  I love to sit in the cool grass and watch the world go by, love car rides and especially love to take my afternoon naps.  My foster mom took me in when my elderly owner died and I'm now looking for my forever home.
