~~Meet Dodger. Despite his bad “haircut”, he is a beautiful little male Pomeranian. It is estimated that he is between 7 and 9 years old. His hair, when long is brown with beautiful black tips.
What this little boy needs is a family who can love on him and hold him and allow him to come out of his shell, someone who loves and understands Pomeranians. He would benefit from an owner who has lots of time for him.
Dodger is a very good boy. He is timid, but will settle when held.  He seems to like to watch what is going on around him when being held.
He is very still when in a pen, but if outside and comfortable (it takes a while for him to adjust) he will explore and wander. Other dogs do not distress him, he is indifferent to them.
He is somewhat paper/pad trained, although his aim isn’t so good at times! He will do his business outside if taken outside and encouraged. He still prefers to “go” on concrete, but we are working on that.
He isn’t a barker. His paws seem very tender still from living his life caged on chicken wire.
The vet had to pull most of his teeth, he has two left. He still can eat kibble food (softened with water) and wet food mixed together. He is a good eater.
