~~Scout defies an easy description. She is outgoing, joyful, speaks her mind, and is still shy at times. She loves to play, but is also happy to just be held. She is doing amazing with crate training. She is a very smart and pretty little girl (this picture doesn’t do her justice).

~~It has been a very literary summer at LSAR, so honoring ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ - we present Jem and Scout, 9 week old, lab mix puppies.
They are members of a large litter that went to three different area rescues. They are still adapting to a large space to explore, not vying for food and being a party of two!

Mom is a yellow lab, and though no one is sure, dad may be a large black and brown stray dog seen with her.
