~~Penelope is a senior, 12 year old, small Chihuahua that is ready for her new home. She came to us with a tumor that has been removed. Her test results from her tumor came back and unfortunately the tumor was malignant, however, the mass had clean margins and was removed completely. The Vet feels she likely has years of good living ahead of her and her owners will simply want to watch for any new growths. She also has a back leg she hurt that went years without being treated and although she won’t make a good hiking partner, she gets around great in her own. We will be looking for a home where she can be with her humans most of the time, so not a home where her parents work full time and she is home alone most of the day. She does great with other dogs and will need to be allowed to sleep with her humans and sit with them during quiet times. She eats soft food only and will take a small pill every morning and every night. This 12 year old is one of the sweetest little girls I have met and just wants love and companionship♥️ She will be right next to you at all times.
