Waylon is a young neutered male shepherd cross. He is probably 1 and 1/2 years old.  Waylon is young and energetic and would love to be someone's running or hiking partner. He loves people  and is wonderful with children of all ages. His foster mom says that this dog does not have a single mean bone in his body. He is good with other dogs, although his playfulness may be too much for some dogs. He is very interested in the cats in his foster home, most likely to play, but they have no interest in being close to him. He needs a family that has time to work with him as he is very smart but has not had much training. He is treat motivated and learned to sit and lay down for a treat in a matter of minutes. He is not a dog that can be left unattended in a yard for long periods of time because he will climb a fence if he is bored and wants to get in on the action in a different place.
