Gigi is a beautiful white shepherd mix. She is around 10-months old and weighs 35 pounds. She can be shy at first but once you have gained her trust, she is a happy and playful love bug. She gets along great with kids, other dogs, cats… everyone really. Her ideal home would have canine siblings to play with.
Here’s her story: Gigi was found as a stray and was taken in by a wonderful rescue in southern Texas. She was a horribly emaciated 6-month-old puppy in need of a lot of care. She was placed in a loving foster home where she gained weight and was given medical care. Over a few months she bloomed into a truly lovely dog. She was recently transported to Montana to find her forever home and has joyfully embraced the snowy north.
She is potty trained and has been working on her basic obedience commands but will need continued work on her manners. She loves food and people and can get overly excited by these things, but she is also smart and eager to please and will be an amazing dog with continued work. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. If you would like to know more about Gigi and are interested in giving this amazing rescue dog a “happily ever after” to her story, please complete the adoption application on our website www.lsar.org.
