LOVES other dogs and will play for hours if they want to. She settles down nicely if you or the other dog tells her to. She sleeps through the night in her crate if you want, but she prefers sleeping either in bed or on a dog bed beside the bed. She has never had an accident in her kennel or in the house. She does now know how to use the doggie door, it took her awhile to figure it out. But even prior to the dog door she held it until taken or let out. She’ll go to the door and whine if she’s gotta go.
Walks good on leash. Would be a great jogging buddy. Rides great in the car, no car sickness on our trips to town.
She was around neighborhood kids who loved on her before being rescued from the street, but there’s no kids at my house.
She’s a tiny bit shy of men. But does warm up to them. I had a houseful of big manly men for a few weeks and she did just fine after watching them for a while. She definitely prefers me over my husband, but all the dogs here do
. My sister and niece (teenage) came and she was instantly ok with them.
She did snag a hen when the kennel door was accidentally opened. So I don’t trust her with cats, definitely not with poultry!!
She’s not a fan of a bath, but doesn’t fuss about it. Lets me cut her nails.
UTD on all shots and spayed. She’s a super sweet little lady (36-37 pounds) with silky soft fur and yummy ears (my dog mouths them, I guess because someone cut his off). She’s street smart and people haven’t always been good to her. But once she trusts you it’s completely
