Adoption Opportunity for Charlie and Lola. Six years ago my housemate’s daughter asked us to keep Charlie & Lola for a little while but never came to pick them up. I kept them after my housemate died but I am now moving and my new living situation will be challenging for my beloved dog friends. If I can find the right home for them, together, I would like to re-home them. Charlie is an 8-1/2 year old schnoodle (mix of small schnauzer and poodle – hypo allergenic, no shedding – 20 lbs - chipped), neutered. Lola is almost 7 years old, a chihuahua and wire hair dachshund mix, 10 lbs, spayed. They have been together since Lola was 6 weeks old and are best of friends. They play together and do not require any extensive walking or exercise. With a dog door and a small fenced yard they will run and play together. They love to chase tennis balls (Lola’s too small to pick them up but she runs step for step with Charlie). They are loving, cuddly and great fun. They love riding in the car and are good car companions. They would be a great addition to a young family with children (above toddler age) or for retired or older people wanting companionship and love. They are used to living with a female cat. Current on all shots and grooming. Charlie is a sensitive dog and has difficulty with sudden loud noises like fireworks and thunder. He is a vocal dog and barks when people come to the house, especially if they knock on the door! Adoption fee applies.
