Taffy is one of the 12 dogs that were rescued off the streets of Bakersfield a couple of months ago. Taffy was extremely frightened and shut down but in her foster home has made great strides. She is still not entirely comfortable with people, but can be picked up and held. She does not have a mean bone in her body and freezes when she isn’t sure what to do. She is potty trained and loves her crate where she feels safe. We have no doubt that she will eventually blossom in an adoptive home that has the patience to give her the time she needs to feel safe and secure.
