Athena is a spayed female one and a half year old mini Aussie. Athena came from a backyard breeding situation and was six months old before she found a home. Because she didn’t receive proper socialization as a puppy, Athena had some issues to overcome, and unfortunately her owner worked long hours and did not have the time to spend with her. Athena was surrendered in hopes that she would be able to find a home that would be able to work with her and have time to help her reach her potential. We are looking for a working dog savvy home, one that has the time and patience to work with the is little girl. Athena is a gorgeous girl, absolutely nonaggressive and very sweet and shy. In the week that she has been with us, she has become very comfortable with her two caregivers. She loves other dogs so a home with canine siblings would probably be ideal.
