Sammy is a 6 ½ year old Chihuahua who had become very accustomed to one owner. Unfortunately, his owner had to move into a home where she could not have Sammy and now he needs a new, quiet home with someone who will be patient with him as he gets to know them. Sammy has made great strides in his foster home and is a fantastic lap dog. He is house trained, loves to snuggle, and might be OK with another small dog if it’s the right dog. Sammy will not be placed in a home with small children, larger dogs, or a lot of people coming and going. Sammy has been known to bite people he does not know and needs a patient loving owner who understands it will take time to form a close bond with him. Sammy loves his foster mom and dad and would not dream of biting them.
