Jonathan is finally ready to start looking for his forever home! He was a very skinny, sad looking little puppy when he came into the clinic but he has made remarkable progress in a few short weeks. Jonathan was suffering from a terrible case of mange, he was malnourished, and developed a bladder infection as well. He has been very loved in his foster home, getting medicated baths every other day and taking his medications like a good little boy! He is a very smart little puppy who is eager to learn whatever we want to teach him. He is easy to train since he is highly treat motivated. I bet he would sing the national anthem for a treat if he were asked to!!! This sweet little guy loves to snuggle and is great with all other dogs. Even though he was starved when he came in, he has not shown any food aggression and loves to sit and chew on a bone. He loves rides in the car and is great with kids. This is a very special little dog and was very unlucky in his first home. He is going to make a wonderful pet for whatever family decides to give him a second chance at finding a home where he will be loved and cared for. Update: Unfortunately Jonathan’s mange is not yet under control so he is “on medical hold” for a while longer; however you can still submit a matchmaking form at: http://www.lsar.org/dog_matchmaking_form.htm
