When we first agreed to take Lewis in, he was in pretty rough shape and just about the saddest little thing we had seen. He had been found on the street with a very severe case of mange. On Christmas Eve, a  good Samaritan found  him on the street and cared for him until the vet clinic opened up the day after Christmas. Lewis immediately started treatment for his mange, as well as secondary infections that resulted  from the open wounds on his skin. This little 4 month old pitty mix was a mess. Well, here we are a month later and he is making a remarkable recovery. His skin is much better and his spirits are high! He is a very loving, sweet boy and is going to make a great family pet.
